Police in Guisborough are looking for a man who tricked an 11-year-old girl into his car.
Police in Guisborough are looking for a man who tricked an 11-year-old girl into his car.
It happened at 4pm on Tuesday (27th January).
The man told the girl he was a friend of her dad and he would give her a left home.
She got into the car on Church Lane.
The 11-year-old realised he wasn’t and got out of the car on the roundabout.
The man is described as white, late 20s or early 30s, with a shaved or bald head and gold studs in his ears. The car was black.
Police officers are working to identify the car and the man, including viewing CCTV in the area and conducting local enquiries. Officers are urging people to remain vigilant but to take a common sense approach.
