The results of the General Election 2024 for Teesside is in and all but one seat won by the Conservatives in the last election are now Labour.

The only blue among the red sea was in Stockton West, where Matt Vickers managed to hold his seat.

The other big result saw Tory Jacob Young, who was a Levelling Up Minister, lose in Redcar, as Labour gained there.

Hartlepool - LABOUR GAIN - Electorate 70,855 - Turnout 49.83%

Winner: Labour Party - Jonathan Brash - 16,414 votes.

Second: Reform UK - Amanda Napper - 8,716 votes.

Third: Conservatives - Jill Mortimer - 7,767 votes.

Independent - Sam Lee - 895 votes.

Green - Jeremy Spyby-Steanson - 834 votes.

Liberal Democrat - Peter Maughan - 572 votes.

Workers Party of Britain - Tommy Dudley - 248 votes.

Heritage Party - Vivienne Neville - 65 votes.
