Help needed to ID suspected fly-tipper in Middlesbrough
A CCTV image has been released in an attempt to track down a suspected fly-tipper in Middlesbrough.
A blue van was caught on camera entering the former Southlands Centre site on Ormesby Road on Monday at 12.45pm.
A man was seen appearing to dump bricks, rubble and carpets.
A member of the public reported the incident to a local councillor, who passed it on to Middlesbrough Council's Environmental Flying Squad who checked CCTV and will clear up the mess on site.
Mayor of Middlesbrough Andy Preston said: "Fly-tipping is a disgusting crime and we are now stamping it out.
"We need to identify this person caught on CCTV and get hold of them, fast. If anyone knows who this man is please let us know as soon as possible."
