Fail-to-Stop Collision in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing to witnesses after a fail-to-stop collision in Middlesbrough.

The incident happened around 3:35pm on Saturday 14th August, when a collision took place on the footway along the southside River Tees towards Newport.

An orange motorbike was involved in the collision and a 55-year-old male pedestrian, who suffered leg and stomach injuries and was taken to James Cook University Hospital.

Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with further information is asked to contact PC Andrew Pitts from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit, on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 136355.
