Hartlepool had a busy final day of the transfer window.

Just one move for Middlesbrough who saw Luke Williams go to Coventry on loan until the end of the season.

Hartlepool manager Ronnie Moore had a busy one:

Sunderland defender Scott Harrison joined on a permanent deal.

The 21-year-old has had two loan spells at the Pools.

Forward Marvin Morgan has joined on loan, as well as defender David Mirfin from Scunthorpe United for a month.

Nicky Featherstone has signed an extension keeping him at the club until the end of the season.

Manager Ronnie Moore has also been nominated for League 2's manager of the month for January.

Since he joined they have got seven points from five games, which has brought them some hope of survival after languishing at the bottom of the table.
