Couple attacked with substance in Guisborough

In the early hours of Saturday (2nd Feb) morning a couple were walking along New Road in Guisborough when they were approached by two people, one of whom has squirted a noxious liquid into the face of the victims.

The victims have not suffered any lasting injuries but experienced temporary discomfort and loss of senses.

The description is that the first is a man around 6ft tall wearing dark clothing with a hood pulled up on his head. The second was much smaller at 5ft – not sure if it is male or female and also wore dark clothing with the hood pulled up.
