CCTV Released after Alleged Racist Abuse at Boro Match

Cleveland Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an incident at football match. The game took place at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium on Saturday 29th November as Middlesbrough FC took on Blackburn Rovers FC. As players were applauding away fans on the pitch at the final whistle at around 5pm, a Middlesbrough fan in the East Stand in block 40-42 was seen to make a gesture towards a Blackburn Rovers player which was perceived as racist.
