Cannabis farm found in Redcar

Hundreds of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of more than a quarter of a million pounds have been found at a house in Redcar.

Police received a call about possible drug activity at the property in Hardale Grove yesterday (Monday, July 26).

Officers attended and discovered 650 large cannabis plants, which have an estimated street value of over Ā£292,000.

The scene has been preserved overnight and police are continuing to trace any occupants from the address.
