Body found in North Ormesby identified as missing man
The man's body was found in North Ormesby on Friday
Police say they've informed the family of a missing man from Middlesbrough, after a body was found on Friday evening.
Officers were called to a report of the body of a man in North Ormesby on Friday evening, 25th August.
Now, police have confirmed, it has been identified as missing David McKenzie, aged 35, from Middlesbrough.
Cleveland Police say "David’s family have been informed and our thoughts remain with his family and friends at this extremely difficult time."
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
