Body found in Guisborough Woods believed to be missing Pat Kettlewell
Police found the body in Guisborough Woods this morning and believe it to be the missing 64-year-old.
Police officers searching for missing Pat Kettlewell found the body of a woman in Guisborough Woods this morning.
While no formal identification has taken place, police believe the body is that of the 64-year-old.
Officers are supporting Pat's family and say their thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
Police are still trying to trace a woman who was seen to help Pat to her feet after she had fallen over in Guisborough woods on Saturday 20th August at around 9am before walking with Pat towards Belmangate.
The woman who helped her is described as being white, under 30, 5’8’’ with dark hair and she was walking a small dog.
Police urge this woman to come forward as she may hold valuable information which could assist with enquiries.
