Big fire in Hartlepool
The old Wesley Nightclub went up in flames.....again......last night.
Emergency services remain on the scene of a huge blaze in Hartlepool.
You'll have seen the videos on social media of the former Wesley Nightclub engulfed in flames.
Statement from Cleveland Police last night:
"Officers have closed Wesley Square and Victoria Road in Hartlepool following a large fire.
"People are asked to avoid the area whilst emergency services deal with the incident."
The Grade II listed building was also hit by a fire in 2017 which gutted the inside and destroyed the roof.
Work was currently underway to turn the derelict building into a hotel.
There's no word on any cause as of yet and once the area is safe an investigation will get underway.
