Hartlepool United players were given the full military treatment in Catterick today!

As part of their pre-season training the Pools were put their their paces with a gruelling obstacle course in Marne Barracks.

It's ahead of a busy friendly schedule - the club will face 9 matches before the season begins.

Manager Ronnie Moore - who made two new signings last week - says there's a lot the players could learn from the army.

The group included new signing Billy Paynter who joined the club from Carlisle United. He told TFM he has high hopes for where Hartlepool can finish this season.
