Appeal Following Report of Racially Aggravated Assault and Public Order Offence

Police are appealing for information after a report that a 55 year old man, his 58 year old female partner and 35 year old male friend were subject to racist abuse from two youths and a man, before being assaulted at the Shambles, Stockton High Street at the weekend.

Two 14 year old boys and a 23 year old man have been arrested in connection with the alleged incident and released under investigation while inquiries continue.
