7-year-old girl dies after a house fire in Darlington
She was rescued from the fire on December 1st - but sadly passed away in the RVI in Newcastle yesterday.

A 7-year-old girl has died in hospital following a house fire in Darlington.
Fire crews, police and an air ambulance were called to Esk Road, at about 1.50pm on Saturday, December 1.
The child died in the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle, yesterday. A post-mortem is due to be held in the coming days.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of arson and then released under investigation by Durham Constabulary.
Detective Chief Inspector Traci McNally, said: “A police investigation is underway.
“Our thoughts are with the little girl’s family and friends following this tragic incident."
