A 14-year-old girl's been sexually assaulted in broad daylight near a Middlesbrough park.

Police are appealing for information after a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted whilst walking along Park Road South in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 30th March at 10:30am when the victim was walking towards The Cenotaph and the entrance to Albert Park when an unknown man stopped infront of her and sexually assaulted her.

The man then continued to walk along Park Road South towards Westminster Road and he is described as a white male, around 5’10” tall with short dark hair, unshaven and he was wearing a hooded grey coat, beige trousers and black shoes.

The victim managed to go to a friend’s house nearby and was left shaken from the incident.
