12 year old cyclist hit by car in Norton

The boy has been left with broken legs.

Police are appealing for CCTV or dash cam footage after a collision involving a cyclist and a black Peugeot 208 in Norton.

The incident happened around 3:30pm on Monday 12th February on the A1027 junction with The Glebe.

A 12-year-old boy who had been on a pedal cycle suffered serious breaks to both legs and was taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.

Anyone with footage or any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 025950.
