James Blunt announced his new album earlier today in very unusual way.
The 42-year-old singer is known for his sarcastic anecdotes so unsurprisingly his most recent tweet attracted a lot of attention from both fans and non-fans alike.
Rather than the usual approach to an album announcement he just tweeted, 'If you thought 2016 was bad - I'm releasing an album in 2017.'
James' tweet attracted 87,000 likes and 57,000 retweets in just 14 hours.
Although the 'You're Beautiful' singer doesn't tend to tweet often when he does they can be pretty funny. Here are some of the best tweets from him over the last year.
