The Johnson family from San Antonio, Texas are no stranger to Christmas lights displays having entered the American TV competition The Great Christmas Light Fight last year.

Improving on their 2014 performance they have tweaked their dubstep display and it has now become an online hit with over two million views.

Whilst last year the family's house was adorned with a mixture of lights and pixels, this year all the lights have been replaced with pixels making the display more efficient.

Programming the sequence is no mean feat however, as it takes around 6 - 10 hours to program just 10 seconds of the display.

And if you're wondering about the cost of running such a display, according to the family's website it is extremely efficient and only requires half the amount of power required to run an average hair dryer!
