Cash for Kids are proud to support Middlesbrough Kinship Carers Support Group. The group is run by Grandparents who are looking after their Grandchildren in circumstances where parents of the children are unable to provide the care they need because of drugs, alcohol, domestic violence and mental health issues.

This means that the children get the care and support they need rather than rather than them being put into foster care.

Cash for Kids TFM were able to offer the Kinship Carers Support Group a grant of £825, which was used by the group to organise day trips to Alton Towers and Gullivers World!

This grant was given as part of the Cash for Kids 'Rolling Out The Rewards' campaign, in association with Tees Valley Community Foundation.

The campaign provides equipment and facilities for local groups working to support disadvantaged and disabled children.

If you think your cause is what we're looking for then apply now for some of this incredible £50,000 of funding. The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Monday 19th October 2015.
