WATCH: Jake Gyllenhaal stars in dramatic ‘Everest’ trailer
Everest will hit cinemas in September 2015
The first trailer for upcoming movie ‘Everest’ has been released and it features Jake Gyllenhaal and Jason Clarke as explorers attempting to reach the top of Mount Everest.
The film follows two groups of committed climbers who endure extreme conditions of -40 degrees to battle through one of the mountains biggest ever snow storms to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain.
They are forced to exceed their physical limits to achieve their lifelong goal of reaching the top, however not everyone makes it.
‘Everest’ is based on the book ‘Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mt Everest Disaster’, by explorer Jon Krakauer, who is portrayed by Michael Kelly in the big-screen adaptation.
The movie also stars big names such as Keira Knightley, Robin Wright, Josh Brolin, Emily Watson and Sam Worthington.
‘Everest’ is set to hit cinemas in September 2015.
