Robin Williams' daughter has shared a heartwarming throwback photo to pay tribute to her late father on his birthday.
The popular actor, who committed suicide back in 2014, would have celebrated his 65th birthday this week. Zelda shared the black and white snap to her Instagram account which shows Robin lifting her up with a huge smile on his face.
She captioned the shot with ‘Still not really sure what to do on days like today… I know I can’t give you a present anymore, but I guess that means I’ll just have to keep giving them in your name instead’.
The 26-year-old went on to tell people about the charities she is helping in hounour of her late father. She said ‘ This year, I tried to help three causes you cared about in one; rescue dogs, people suffering from disabilities, and our nation’s wounded veterans, so I donated to freedomservicedogs.org. They rescue pups from shelters and train them so that they can be paired with someone in dire need of their help and companionship. Thought you'd get a kick out of furry, four legged friends helping change the world, one warrior in need at a time’
She then ended with a heartwarming message to her ‘Poppo’, writing ‘Happy birthday Poppo. Shasha, Zakky, Codeman and I all love you and miss you like crazy. Xo’

At the time of his death, Robin’s publicist revealed the star had been suffering from depression for a number of years before his widow, Susan Schneider, revealed he was suffering from Lewy Body Dementia.
