Paloma Faith won't be releasing an album this year for one very good reason
The singer revealed the reason on social media.
British singer Paloma Faith has shared some exciting news across her social media channels.
In a long post and in depth post she has revealed that she has been working on her latest album, but it won't be released this year because she is pregnant!
She starts her post saying, 'So the good news is my 4th album is well underway...' continuing, 'I am so delighted to tell you I am going to take a short while off to have a baby.'
While she doesn't specify how much time she will be having off or how far along her pregnancy is, she says wont be taking part in The Voice which she previously appeared in as a judge.
This news comes just days after the Brit Award winner posted on Facebook that she was on her 'holibobs' and would be back soon, 'to resume normal duties!!'.
The 35-year-old singer says in her statement she would like to keep her public and private lives separate,
'I want the baby to have the freedom of a normal life,' she explained. 'I am passionate about my job and what I do in the public eye but consider these to be two separate things, not one in the same.'
Earlier this year in an interview with the Sunday People, she said explained that even though her and longterm boyfriend Leyman Lahcine aren't married she longs to have children.
Congratulations Paloma and Leyman!
