Louis Tomlinson Makes "Amazing" Doncaster Rovers Debut
He fulfils his boyhood dream!
One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson made his childhood dream come true last night by playing for his beloved Doncaster Rovers.
The 22-year-old singer came on as a substitute for the reserves in the Final Third Development League draw with Rotherham United.
Doncaster reserves games at the Keepmoat Stadium usually attract 100 fans – however, over 4,000 1D fans turned up from around the globe, some from as far as Australia and Mexico, to see their idol in the flesh.

Louis came on to huge screams in the 64th minute and had his first touch two minutes later before promptly giving the ball away.
The singer was heavily man-marked by two Rotherham players who were keen to thwart the shame of conceding by a goal by a boyband singer.
Despite not scoring, Louis was elated about his appearance, saying afterwards: “It’s absolutely amazing, those boys get to do that every week and it really is such an honour to be involved in a club, where I spent most of my child hood going down to the games.
“Just pulling on the shirt is just a boyhood dream. I think its really important that when we are lucky enough to be in the position that we are in, to use that for the greater good.”
Louis’s appearance was a joint partnership between Doncaster and local charity Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
He added: “It is really important to spread the word about Bluebell Wood because they are such a great great charity.
“To get an insight into the football world has been fascinating and to be invited into that is such an honour.
“I have really enjoyed it and I can’t thank the people enough at Doncaster Rovers for having me.”
