Kevin Costner reveals surprise over new movie role
The 61-year-old stars in a new film called Criminal
Kevin Costner has revealed he was quite surprised to take on a villain in his new film Criminal.
He admitted that he was a confused at first, having been used to playing the ‘good guy fighting the bad guy’ instead of the other way around.
The 61-year-old told our Ents team “I wasn’t sure why I was being asked to do it, I was like ‘Have you seen some of my movies? I play baseball, make Westerns, you want me to play this criminal?’.
“But I knew I could play it in my own way, what they didn’t know that if I did it I was going to go to a dark place, go to a severe look and play a guy who just did not feel things.”
