Benidorm's Johnny Vegas is barely recognisable after dramatic weight loss

Johnny Vegas, comedian and former star of the hit TV show Benidorm, has never been one to shy away from jokes about his weight - but he's now shown off a HUGE weight overhaul, and looks completely different! The star, who was well known for his appearance in the PG Tips adverts years ago, took to Twitter to reveal his brand new slim look - and that it's all down to a very healthy breakfast.
Johnny, whose real name is Michael Pennington, said much of his weight loss was due to 'avocado, scrambled eggs and sausages' - nothing like the fry-ups he used to eat.
Johnny took to Twitter to show off his slim face, adding a photo of his delicious-looking breakfast and writing, 'It's a far cry from a Thatto Heath fry up....ooh you've changed Vegas. Apologies fellow tweeters, busy of late and treating our chats like a bacon butty, sadly an all too rare a treat of late x'.

Since posting a photo of his new slimmer self, fans of the comedian have left hundreds of encouraging messages on his profile, replying on Twitter with some heartfelt messages.
Johnny, who split from his wife Maia Dunphy late last year, has apparently gone on a health kick after their seven-year marriage ended. Back in February, the 47-year-old said he was "pleased" that he had lost weight and had received compliments from fans, tweeting a photo of his mum with the caption, 'Is it okay to feel just a teensy weensy bit pleased with yourself when a compliment over weight loss ends with "...you look fabulous!"?'
He also shared a photo of himself enjoying a pint of Guinness as he watched rugby in a pub with a friend yesterday (20th July) - it's good to see he's still allowing himself some treats!
