Jennifer Lawrence Voted Sexiest Woman In The World 2014

Hollywood icon Jennifer Lawrence has been voted the Sexiest Woman In The World by readers of FHM Magazine.

The 23-year-old American Hustle and X-Men actress received a record number of votes to claim the coveted title from last year’s winner Mila Kunis.

The Sexiest Woman crown comes after an incredible 12 months for Jen, which has seen her win an Oscar, BAFTA and a Golden Globe plus she became the highest-grossing action heroine of all time thanks to her role as Katniss in the Hunger Games.

“Congratulations to Jennifer on landing the number one spot,” said FHM 100 Sexiest editor Dan Jude.

“She’s run away with the title this year and it’s no great surprise. Not only is she the most in-demand actress on the planet, but men the world over have fallen in love with her kooky charm.”

In second spot is Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, who takes the Sexiest Woman in Britain crown from ex-Corrie star Helen Flanagan.

“I'm totally taken back by this, it really does mean a lot,” said 26-year-old Michelle. “Thank you so much to the readers of FHM and everyone who took the time and voted for me, I'm so flattered.

“I believe that being 'sexy' isn't wearing lots of heavy make-up or having the perfect hair or figure, it's about self-confidence, being comfortable with yourself, smiling and being happy!"

!Elsewhere in the top 10, Rihanna drops one place to number 3, while Beyoncé jumps 12 places to 7, former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger is at 9 (returning judge Cheryl Cole is at number 13) and Scarlett Johansson soars 39 spots to tenth.

Other notable stars include 54-year-old domestic goddess Nigella Lawson (the year’s oldest entry) is at 21 and Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid, 43, jumps a phenomenal 66 places to reach number 30.

40-year-old Kate Moss has re-entered at 42 and Jennifer Aniston has incredibly made her 18th appearance inside the Top 100 at number 36. Georgia Salpa (pictured) is in 25th place.

New entries include Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas (32), model Cara Delevingne (54), Blurred Lines video star Emily Ratajkowski (4), Amy Adams (33) and Ellie Goulding (60).

The biggest faller of the year is former number one Tulisa Contostavlos who drops 71 places to 82. Rachel Riley is the biggest riser jumping 73 places to 17.
