Jared Leto dyes hair and eyebrows blonde for role as The Joker
He undergoes a dramatic image transformation
With his voluminous beard and flowing long brown hair, Hollywood heartthrob Jared Leto has looked more like Jesus than a comic book villain in recent months.
However, in France for Paris Fashion week yesterday, 43-year-old Jared unveiled his dramatic image transformation for his role as The Joker in upcoming movie Suicide Squad.
Jared sported newly cropped peroxide blonde hair, slicked back and complemented by bleached eyebrows. Gone is the facial hair too in favour of a chiselled clean shave look.
As if to allay fan fears that Jared’s incarnation of The Joker is blonde, his hairstylist later shared a photo on Instagram of green hair dye in keeping with the Batman nemesis’s trademark colour.
Phew.
Set for release in late 2016, Suicide Squad is directed by David Ayer (Fury, Sabotage) and stars a galaxy of big names including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot and Cara Delevigne as Enchantress.
