They split up in November 2017

Last year TV presenter Davina McCall confirmed the sad news that she had split from her husband of 17 years, Matthew Robertson, and now she has opened up about her marriage saying she was left with barely any friends.
Davina, who has three children with Matthew, revealed how she found juggling her work and home life, and spending time with friends. Speaking to OK! magazine she said, "As you get older you realise how important friendships are. I used to have one best friend because I was so busy with the kids, my marriage and everything else, but now I have got lots of close friends."
Having recently faced some backlash after she posted a photo on Instagram of her abs, she then went on to explain, "I like social media because it’s so positive in lots of areas but I actually ended up ignoring what was being said and kept posing. I’m fit and healthy, there’s nothing wrong with me. I hope people look and think ‘Oh my God she’s in her fifties and still going strong’."

The former Big Brother presenter, who is now 50-years-old, announced the shock split from her husband last November, releasing a statement which read, "I am very sad to say that Matthew and I have separated. Our amazing children are our number one priority, above everything else so therefore we ask for as much space and respect from the media as possible while our family goes through this difficult time."
The statement was released just a few days after she shared an inspirational quote on Instagram which could give some insight into the relationship breakdown, as well as Davina's state of mind.
The quote said, "Every morning we get a chance to be different. A chance to change. A chance to be better. Your past is your past. Leave it there. Get on with the future part."
Davina admitted the couple had tried marriage counselling in the past, and it had helped them overcome a particular issue which kept coming up for them. "We had the same row," she explained.
"It might have been about different things but it would be about the same thing and it would get to the same point and I thought, ‘We’re never going to get past this particular row'."
But despite the success of the counselling and the couple renewing their vows in 2015, the relationship came to an end in November 2017.
