Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine has announced she's expecting her second child with her husband Chris Farr.
Jennie, who plays the role of popular character Fizz Brown, announced her happy news on Twitter. She wrote, 'We've got a bit of news. Pur baby boy is going to be a big brother later this year. We can't wait to meet you precious one.' sic
Jennie's Coronation Street co-stars were quick to congratulate the actress on her happy news.
Samia Longchambon wrote, 'Oh wow Jen! Fabulous news…congrats to you all darling', with Shobna Gulati writing, 'Congratulations my dearest! To all of you! (Especially you as you are brewing baby)'. sic
The likes of Bhavna Limbachia, Catherine Tydesley and Ellie Leach also congratulated Jennie and her husband...
After receiving thousands of messages, Jennie later wrote, 'Thanks for all your lovely messages. Obviously my baby brain is in full force again. Our baby boy. Not pur. Sorry to people who got confused it was about the cat x' sic

Jennie and Chris first started dating way back in 2005, with the pair tying the knot in January 2017.
The happy couple welcomed their first child in November 2014, a baby boy called Albert.
Jennie has been a popular figure with Coronation Street fans ever since she set foot on the cobbles back in 2001, at the age of only 17.
After 17 years on the show, Jennie's character Fizz Brown has become an iconic Corrie star, having been involved in a number of major storylines.
As well as Coronation Street, Jennie took part in the 2017 series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. The actress made it into the final four, losing out to the likes of Jamie Lomas, Iain Lee and eventual winner Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo.
