Cheryl on Simon Cowell: "He's Still Incredibly Annoying!"

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has told Entertainment NOW! that her X Factor co-judge Simon Cowell is still “incredibly annoying”!

The pair (in)famously fell out when Cheryl was unceremoniously dumped from The X Factor USA in 2011 but recently rekindled their friendship when Simon recruited her for this year’s UK show.

Chatting to us at The X Factor auditions at London’s Wembley Arena, Cheryl joked that Simon is still a niggling thorn in her side:

In stark contrast to Cheryl’s swipes, Simon only had kind things to say about Cheryl and her new husband Jean-Bernard.

Describing Cheryl’s return to the panel, Simon said: “It’s amazing, she’s on good form. It’s the happiest I’ve seen her in years.” He continued:

Asked about Robert Pattinson’s older sister Lizzy who is currently impressing in auditions, Simon admitted that he was unaware of her family ties.

“She never told us who she was,” Simon explained. “We found out (about R-Patz) afterwards. She’s cool, she’s good. The talent has been great.”

Echoing Simon, Cheryl said the singers on this year’s show are a very high calibre: “We’ve seen some great talent and I’m excited to see them again in the arena environment, see how the crowd like them.”
