BIG NEWS! The new Ghostbusters car has been revealed!
See it in all its glory here
Ghostbusters director Paul Feig has unveiled a photo of the brand new car the all-female cast will be driving!
Very similar to the vehicle that appeared in the original Ghostbusters movies, the new version of the iconic Ecto-1 car was revealed by Paul on Twitter.
Along with the hashtag #whattheygonnadrive, Paul uploaded two images of the car – one from the front and the other from the rear.
Maintaining the trademark red and white colours of the original Ecto-1, the new-look vehicle is slightly squarer than the old version and takes its bodywork from 1959 Cadillac Professional.
Ever since details of the cast (Bridesmaids stars Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy plus comediennes Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon) was revealed in January, Paul Feig has been using social media to drip-feed fans information about the movie.
In the few weeks he has shared images of the new Ghostbuster backpack and their boiler suit outfits and announced that Chris Hemsworth will be starring as the receptionist to the phantom fighters. Check out some of his tantalising teases below.
Also starring the Wire's Michael K. Williams and Andy Garcia and real life TV host Pat Kiernan as a news anchor, Ghostbusters hits cinemas in July 2016.
The first two Ghosbusters films are widely regarded as comedy classics nowadays and were huge box office smashes upon release in the 1980s.
