TV presenter Ant McPartlin has pleaded guilty to drink driving at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court, telling the court he is "ashamed and mortified" by his actions.
The 42-year-old was charged with drink driving on the 21st March following his arrest a few days earlier after he was allegedly involved in a collision with two other cars in London.
In a letter read out in court, Ant said he "accepts full responsibility" and he let himself "and so many others down".
Ant has been fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months.
Since this arrest on suspicion of drink driving Ant has stepped down from his TV presenting commitments with his co-host Declan Donnelly.
