Dec and Ali met in 2013, when they began working together, before getting married in 2015. Dec made no secret of his desire to have children, saying in 2011, "I come from a family of seven, so growing up I always thought I’d like a big family.

"Maybe I’m lowering my sights from seven now. But yeah, a couple would be good."

Congratulations, Dec and Ali!

Meanwhile, in just a few months time, Dec will be taking over the helm of the new series of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here alongside new co-host Holly Willoughby. Last week, Holly was announced as the show's co-host after Ant revealed that he wouldn't be returning to his TV presenting duties until 2020.

Speaking about his new co-host Dec said, "I am hugely grateful to Holly for agreeing to accompany me to Australia this year,” he said. “She was at the top of my list and I’m thrilled she said yes. It will be a different kind of series but we will try our best to ensure it is no less fun and eventful for our loyal viewers.

"I am also pleased to hear Holly is scared of everything. I am almost stupidly excited at the thought of watching her during the eating trials!"

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is due to return in November, now presented by Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby.
