America's Got Talent winner Neal E. Boyd sadly dies aged 42

Opera singer Neal E. Boyd, who was crowned the winner of America's Got Talent in 2008, has tragically passed away at the age of just 42. America's Got Talent paid their respects to Neal, posting a message on social media which read, 'We are very saddened to hear that one of our AGT family members, Neal Boyd, has passed away. Our hearts are with Neal’s loved ones during this difficult time.' sic

According to CNN, Neal passed away on Sunday night at his mother's house in Missouri, with Scott County Coroner Scott Amick revealing he had heart failure, as well as problems with both his kidney and liver.

Since the news broke, fans have flooded Twitter with praise for ‘talented’ Neal.

Neal won the third series of America's Got Talent back in 2008, after impressing both the judges and the viewers at home with his amazing voice.

After winning the show, Neal signed a record deal with Decca Records and later released his debut album 'My American Dream' in 2009.

The opera singer also went on to perform for President Obama when he visited Missouri in 2010.
