Woman in hospital after Dundee crash

The 45 year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital by ambulance

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and pedestrian in Dundee.

Officers were called to Pitkerro Road around 7.10pm yesterday.

The 45 year-old woman had to be taken to Ninewells Hospital.

And a 24 year-old female driver has been charged in connection with a road traffic offence.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.10pm on Monday, 13 May, 2024 officers were called to a report of a collision invoking a vehicle and a pedestrian at Pitkerro Road, Dundee.

"The pedestrian, a 45-year-old woman, was taken to Ninewells Hospital by ambulance.

"The driver, a 24-year-old woman, has been charged in connection with a road traffic offence. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

"Anyone with information or dashcam footage should contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 3426 of 13 May."
