Van catches fire after two vehicle crash in Angus

Emergency services have been tackling a van fire after a crash involving the vehicle and a car in Angus.

Crews were called to Drumsturdy Road around 11:45am today.

Two appliances were dispatched - and there's been no casualties

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.43am on Monday, 5 August, to reports of a vehicle fire following a collision involving a van and a car on Drumsturdy Road, Angus.

“Operations Control mobilised two appliances, and firefighters extinguished the fire affecting one van.

“There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
