Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Fife.

Emergency services were called to the two-car collision on the A92 around 12.00pm today.

The road is closed at the junction with the A913 and drivers are being urged to avoid the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A92 is closed at the junction with the A913 between Letham and Luthrie following a two-vehicle crash that happened around 12 noon on Wednesday.

“Emergency services are at the scene and road users are advised to avoid the area.”

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We attended a road traffic collision on the A92 and dispatched three ambulances to the scene.

“We transported one patient to Ninewells Hospital and two patients to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.”
