High-value bottles of whisky including one worth nearly £40,000 have been stolen from a shop in Perth and Kinross.

Police believe the break-in at House of Bruar near Blair Atholl happened between 4am and 5.10am on Saturday November 23.

Officers said a "considerable" amount of whisky had been stolen.

Those taken included a 54-year-old Highland Park which retails at £39,000.

Police Scotland is appealing for information.

A spokesperson said: "Officers are appealing to anyone who has any information or anyone who may have been asked to purchase bottles of whisky to contact them.

"If you have any information, please call 101, quoting incident number 0610 of November 23.

"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give information anonymously."
