A police dog is being praised for her top nose after sniffing out a trespasser who broke into a Social Club in Dundee.

Amber found the man trying to hide in a cupboard on Sunday night.

Officers say after a "stern" chat from her, he gave up and was arrested.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “PD Amber was in action on Sunday night when a man broke in to a Social Club in Dundee.

“Amber's nose led straight to him trying to hide in a cupboard, (not very original).

“After a stern "chat" from Amber, he quickly gave up and was arrested by her hooman.”
