Two men attacked the rider then used a car to drive over his bicycle between Ogilvie Street and North Erskine Street at around 3.25am on Sunday 21 May.

Officers said the car used was a silver Hyundai i10 that had been reported stolen but has since been recovered.

Police have said they are particularly keen to trace the victim - who has not yet contacted them - to determine if he has suffered any injuries or requires other assistance.

He is described as wearing a black and grey Nike hooded jumper with an obvious large white Nike symbol on the back.

Also in their company was a woman described as in her 20s, tall and with a slim build. She has long dark hair and was wearing a green dress under a dark green cropped jacket, and was also seen to be wearing black socks with orange sliders.
