Cannabis worth over £2.25 million recovered in Dundee
Around 3000 plants were found across two properties
Cannabis plants estimated to be worth over £2.25 million have been recovered from two properties in Dundee.
Officers executed search warrants in the Lorne Street and Ash Street areas of the city on Monday, 8th January 2024.
Approximately 3000 cannabis plants were found across the two properties.
Four men, aged between 26 and 36-year-old, have been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences and reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
The men are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff court on Tuesday, 9th January 2024.
Detective Constable Chris Grieve said: “This is a substantial recovery and highlights our continued commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“We will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to prevent the sale and distribution of illegal drugs in our communities.
