A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after falling from a window in Kirriemuir.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to Ogilvy's Close around 9.45am.

He was transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

Officers say enquiries are ongoing to establish what happened.

A police spokesperson said: "Around 9.45am on Tuesday, 19 November 2024 police received a report of a man having fallen from a window of a flat in Ogilvy's Close, Kirriemuir.

"He has been taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident."

The Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call today at 09:48 hours to attend an incident in Kirriemuir. We dispatched two ambulances, our trauma team and an air ambulance, with our first resource arriving on scene within seven minutes.

"We transported one male patient in his 20s to Ninewells Hospital.”
