Man hospitalised following serious assault in Dundee

A 37-year-old man has been hospitalised with serious but non-life threatening injuries following a serious assault in the Fairbairn Street area of Dundee.

The incident occurred at around 4:20am on Wednesday, 5th March 2023.

Police remain in the area and enquires are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.20am on Wednesday, 5 March, 2023, police were called to the Fairbairn Street area of Dundee, following the serious assault of a 37-year-old man. He has been taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. Police remain in the area and enquiries are ongoing.”
