Fire crews attend blaze at Forfar nursery

Firefighters are attending a blaze at a nursery in Forfar.

Crews were called to The Wendyhouse Nursery on North Street shortly before 8am.

There are no reports of any injuries.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told Tay News: “We were alerted at 7.51am on Friday, 9 February to reports of a fire within a commercial building on North Street, Forfar.

“Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances to the scene.

“No injuries have been reported and firefighters are working to make the area safe.”
