Woman charged with murder following the death of elderly man

A woman has appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court, charged with murder and attempted robbery, following the death of a 97-year-old man in Dundee.

The man was left seriously injured following the incident in Dryburgh Gardens in April.

He was treated in hospital for his injuries but later died on the 25th May.

Tandy Swinton, of Dundee, appeared in private at the the Sheriff Court charged with murder and attempted robbery.

The 43-year-old made no plea and was remanded in custody.
