Firefighters continue to battle blaze at Dundee flat

Fire crews have spent the night battling a blaze at a flat in Dundee city centre.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Graham Place at around 8.40pm on Thursday.

Six fire engines and a height appliance were dispatched and crews remain there this morning.

There are no reports of any injuries.

A spokesperson for The Scottish Fire and Rescue service told Tay news:

“We were alerted at 8.40pm on Thursday, 5 September to reports of a fire within a residential building on Graham Place in Dundee.

“Operations Control mobilised six fire engines and a height appliance to the scene.

“Crews remain in attendance.”
