Burst Dundee water pipe repair underway

A repair is underway on a burst water pipe causing interruption in the water supply for residents in the DD4 postcode area of Dundee.

The water was isolated at 2pm and the water main on Emmock Woods Crescent is expected to be repaired by 5pm.

30 properties are out of supply while the repair is underway.

Due to the timeframe of the repair, Scottish Water say they do not plan to provide bottled water to those impacted.

Once the repair has been completed the water supply will gradually return to normal.
