Pensioner dies and four taken to hospital following Perthshire fire
The incident happened late on Friday night
A woman has sadly died and five people are in hospital after a fire in Perthshire.
Emergency services were called to a report of a blaze at a property on College Place in Methven at around 11.30pm on Friday, 4 August.
The 66-year-old pensioner was pronounced dead at the scene and a 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment.
Four others were taken to hospital as a precuation.
Police said a joint investigation with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing.
