Man in serious condition in hospital after crash near Brechin

Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch

A 19-year-old man is in hospital following a crash on the A933 near Brechin.

Emergency services were called to the collision involving a black BMW 120d at around 3.15pm yesterday afternoon.

The road was closed for around two hours afterwards.

Police say the teenager was taken to Ninewells Hospital were he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Sergeant David Farr said: “We are appealing for anyone with information that could assist with our crash investigation to get in touch.

“In particular, if you have dash-cam footage or were in the area and may have witnessed this incident, then please contact us.”

Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2310 of 28 May, 2023.
