A 38 year old woman has been arrested and charged after police seized thousands of pounds worth of drugs in Angus.

Heroin and cocaine with a potential street value of over £3,000 was recovered on Monday, after officers acting under warrant entered a property on West Abbey Street, Arbroath.

The woman was charged in connection with drugs misuse.

Sergeant Peter Mustard said: “We all know the misery drug misuse can cause in our local communities and this demonstrates our continued commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply in the area.

“Information from the public about drug crime is crucial to our investigations and we would urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs within the local community, to contact us.”
